Police officers in Nairobi’s South B area have arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery with violence and have recovered a motorcycle and several stolen mobile phones.
The incident occurred near Mater Hospital Bridge, where a member of the public was accosted by two individuals riding a motorcycle. The suspects robbed the victim of a high-end mobile phone before attempting to flee the scene.
Following a distress call, officers on patrol responded swiftly, pursued the suspects and successfully apprehended them. During the operation, police recovered three mobile phones, including the stolen device, as well as the motorcycle believed to have been used in the commission of the crime.
The suspects are currently in custody and are expected to appear in court to face the relevant charges.
